Being a city kid, I always wondered how amazing life would be in small villages on mountains where you will be living above clouds & watching the world down in heavenly light, just like Gods in Indian mythology ! This amazing 7 days expedition of 1500+ kms glamping road trip into unexplored Himachal was going to be dream come true moment for me. A great Sanskrit scholar, Acharya Diwakar Datta Sharma was the first person who called this land as “Himachal - which literally means in the arms of Snow” ! And I was about to witness it by myself.

Like every photographer, I was also curious yet fearful of capturing night skies earlier. I was unsure of equipments to use & methods to follow while clicking night skies. However, when I travelled to Himalaya at highest altitudes , where millions of stars were visible with open eyes, I couldn’t resist to push boundaries, follow the night in darkness in extreme weather situations just to explore the universe in my own frame.

It is known for Macca of Cricket & it is a place where a well known fiction character of consulting detective - Sherlock Holmes spent his life. Yes, you guessed it right, the capital of England - London ! We are about to go on a ride of this city in a different way here. Let me start with interesting fact before that. Did you know that London was originally founded by Romans in 43 AD ? During that time, it was famous as Londinium. Before today’s world wide accepted name as London, it was also fondly known as Ludenwic, Ludenberg etc. The name London is actually derived from the Celtic word “Londinous” which means ‘to be bold’ and no doubt this city proves so !

Have you ever been looking for a travel destination where you can hang out with nature & still stay close to human life at the end of the day ? Then you are one of my kind. United Kingdom is blessed with one such land on its north - the heaven which is native of Scots, the place where Scotch takes its birth & nature plays its own game of light & shadow everyday - Aye it is the most beautiful travel destination of United Kingdom - Scotland !

Vrindavan - The historic city at the bank of Yamuna river in Uttar Pradesh in India is sacred place of lord Krishna. It is believed that lord Krishna spent his childhood here. This ancient historic city is very famous amongst Krishna’s devotees and captivates thousands of tourist across the globe during festival of colours - Holi festival in India. While there are so many colourful stories to speak about, there are equally forgotten and darkened paths inside small allies of Vrindavan. ’Abandoned faces - Widows of Vrindavan’ is my instinctive work about dark, unethical & forgotten side of humanity, which is filled with a strong ray of hope in following days.

India is a country which is really blessed with breathtaking landscapes, architectures, historical monuments, people & culture towards its all ends. If you are willing to explore this country, there is much more to learn & to realise how little we know about our own space ! This time, I decided to visit one such corner of India - extreme north eastern side state - Nagaland. The only purpose was to explore tribal side of North East India in biggest cultural festival happening in Nagaland every year named - “Hornbill Festival”.

This land surely doesn’t need any separate introduction. Its everyones dream to visit this place once in a lifetime. City of lights, city of museums & monuments, city of love & romance are only few of its names. Yes I am talking about Paris ! Say me lucky or say me wild dreamer, but I have witness this land & cherry on the cake was, with my better half - My Camera !

Those were the days of VCR players & CD players in India when I saw this city for the first time on screen. “The Italian Job” was the movie which made me completely fall in for this place in my school days. It was beyond my imagination to think of human life in the city filled with water, complemented with such amazing views all around. It just triggered not so achievable dream inside the Indian kid who wanted to visit this beautiful man made creation on earth once in his life !
